Old Town Charles River 158
The Old Town Charles River has a traditional look with its flared bow and stern while its modern design features a strong keel which enables it to track in a straight line very well and a stable hull. These features have lead to the Charles River being popular with activity centres and families.
Onboard the Old Town Charles River there is plenty of storage space for all your equipment for a day trip which also makes it a popular choice for those planning to go nature watching or fishing.
The Charles River is made from Old Town's PolyLink construction which helps to keep the canoe lightweight while also being very durable.
The Charles River comes with two comfortable wood/webbed seats, moulded carry handles for two people to easily carry as well as a yoke and thwart for solo portaging. The Charles River also features a low gunwale to make solo paddling easier. The Tumblehome and flared sides above the water line to help prevent the canoe from tipping and make it easy to paddle while still having a narrow look and feel.
