The Pelican Sprint 120 XR offers extra hull length over the smaller Pelican 100 XR this increases forward momentum, straight line tracking and storage space for longer day trips. The wide hull design and large open cockpit makes this kayak a great option if you are looking for a craft which is very stable and offers lots of freedom of movement for your legs making it easy to get your legs in and out of without feeling enclosed. The open cockpit design provides lots of room around the front of the cockpit allowing for freedom of leg movement unlike traditional narrower cockpit designed which may require a squeeze for entry. This kayak still provides protection from the elements and cross winds but with the ability to easily exit when needed.

The wide 12ft v-shapped hull design provides a very stable platform allowing you to feel confident in your paddling even if you encounter unexpected chop while also carrying its momentum over distance. This makes the kayak easiser to paddle against wind and tide over the shorter 10ft design. The extended keel line has been designed to increase the kayaks water line at the stern allowing for great straight line tracking allowing you to keep your course when paddling over a distance.
