The hull shape is designed with a slight v-shape and rounded chines, helping to reduce drag and ensure maximum efficiency, so the paddler can utilise their endurance. The Scorpio has impressive stability and the low profile back deck make it smooth to roll and re-enter for self-rescues.

The P&H Scorpio is features the Connect outfitting that features an adjustable padded backband that gives the paddler plenty of support and connection to the kayak. Inside the cockpit there is plenty of space to accommodate a variety of paddlers, and with the adjustable foot pegs, the paddler can configure the positioning to achieve the best fit. The kayak also comes with comfy thigh braces that enable increased control when edging and manoeuvring the kayak.

The high strength deck lines provide grab points along the edge of the kayak for rescue situation, while the bungee cords, offer ample storage for you to secure additional gear in place, such as a Bilge Pump, Paddle Float, or Spare Paddle. Additionally, there are multiple, spacious hatch compartments that are ideal for storing all of your main expedition equipment and essential items. These compartments also help to ensure buoyancy if you capsize, as long as the hatch covers are correctly secured in place.
