The Passport 12.0 is spacious and stable, providing the perfect platform for fishing, wildlife photography, or simply cruising your local waterways.

Utilising a lightweight thermoformed hull construction, the Passport 12 feels responsive on the water, and is easy to lift and carry. The hull design provides reliable tracking through the water, and feels sturdy in rougher conditions, helping to boost the paddler's confidence and giving them better control of the kayak.

Hobie Kayaks are known for their Mirage Drive pedal systems, which offer some of the most efficient paddle-free methods of propulsion on the water. The Passport 12.0 features the Mirage Drive GT with Kick Up Fins, one of the more simple Mirage Drives, which keeps things straight-forward for ease of use and allows for hassle-free maintenance. The position of the pedals can be adjusted to accommodate paddlers with longer or shorter length legs. In shallow waters or places where you may come across obstacles in the water, the Kick Up Fins automatically fold out of the way if they come into contact with an object beneath the water, to prevent damaging the fins.

In addition to the Mirage Drive, the Hobie Passport comes fitted with a kick-up Rudder System to assist in directional control when operating the pedal drive. The steering handle is located next to the seating position for convenient access. The Passport is also supplied with a Suspended Mesh Aluminium Frame Seat that gives great support and comfort, for spending longer days on the water. The seat can be easily detached for transportation, but also for use as a beach chair when it comes to relaxing off the water.

There are several storage areas on the kayak, including Bungee Cargo Areas and an 8 inch Twist-N-Seal Hatch, that allow the user to carry and secure additional gear, such as a Dry Bag, or an Anchor System. Outfitted with Accessory Mounting Tracks, you can customise the Passport with popular track mounted accessories, like Fish Finders and Rod Holders.
