The Riot Thunder is an all-out river running machine. If you are looking for a kayak which enables you to paddle sections of white water with confidence, build your skill set from the basics to the professionals while providing an easy to roll platform. Then look no further.
The Thunder has been designed with a semi-planning hull and long water line making it both quick though the water while also being very agile allowing you to manoeuvre the boat with ease when breaking in and out of eddy lines. The added volume behind the cockpit allows the Thunder to resurface well after a drop eliminating an unexpected gnarly squirting session. Smooth rocker at the bow along with the hull shape means that you can hold your ferry line above a feature with confidence before lining up to punch through waves and holes or boof big drops.
The deck design, volume distribution and cockpit shape makes rolling easier enabling you to push your paddling knowing that the boat won’t let you down when you’re counting on it.
The High stability and comfortable but versatile outfitting the Thunder can accommodate a wide range of paddles from size to skill level and river running ability. Featuring an adjustable footplate, adjustable thigh braces and adjustable seat position along with back rest provides you with a well built, fully adjustable and ridged cockpit which makes you feel both secure within the boat but also comfortable and safe.
However this isn’t everything. The Riot Thunder also comes with a pair of stern air buoyancy bags and a bow buoyancy bag, meaning that dragging a fully flooded boat out of the current is a thing of the past.
Overall the Riot Thunder is a down river crusader with a versatile cockpit to allow you to find the most comfortable and connected position enabling you to get maximum performance from your body to the boat. The semi-planning hull provides a manoeuvrable and speedy craft to punch through holes or catch eddy’s on the way. However most importantly the Thunder provides a confidence inspiring kayak which is easy to roll and will allow you to paddle with a smile on your face no matter your skill level.
