Short Playful Halfslice for those looking to play the river
A shorter half-slice designed for paddlers who want a responsive ride, the Storm features a wider hull, evolved rail design, and a revised rocker profile. These elements combine to create a loose-feeling design. Drawing on features developed for the Pyranha ReactR, the Storm allows paddlers to engage the rails for directional control on waves, in holes, or while paddling downstream, while still allowing quick spins when the hull is flat.
The Storm’s volume distribution develops ideas introduced with the Pyranha Firecracker. The bow is shaped to stay relatively dry while paddling, while still enabling quick engagement and responsive pop for downriver freestyle moves.
A refined bow shape and a recurved rocker profile at the tail contribute to the boat’s speed. The overall waterline has also been designed to maintain speed and reduce the planing threshold, helping the boat surf with less resistance across a range of wave sizes and depths.
The Storm is available in three sizes and is designed as a modern half-slice with a focus on freeride performance.
