Speed, pop and control for modern freestyle

The Pyranha Helectron is a high-performance freestyle kayak designed to give paddlers more control, pop and speed across waves and holes. Its squared bow and revised volume distribution make it easier to stay in control when plugging powerful holes, while helping the boat exit rotational moves such as McNasties and Phoenix Monkeys straighter. The bow also provides plenty of pop for loops, giving you the confidence to drive hard into a feature and come out with height.

The stern has been given additional volume to increase reactivity and pop on moves such as Lunar Orbits and Tricky Woos, while still retaining surprisingly clean cartwheels and a slicey feel. Underneath, the Helectron uses a double-edge hull: the primary edge provides the bite needed to drive the boat on a wave, while the secondary edge engages when you lean harder for inverted moves, steep wave surfing and combos. Stern boosters help keep the bow down when surfing forwards, maintain speed and make bounces and ollies easier, while also helping the rails hold their line as you move diagonally across a wave. The result is a loose, fast and highly reactive freestyle boat that lets you spend less time reacting to the feature and more time attacking it.
