Following on from the success of the Dagger Axiom, the Rewind has been created to be the perfect boat for having an excellent day on the river for all abilities of paddler whether you are river running, stomping drops or down river play boating the Rewind is the boat for you!

The Rewind combines a low profile slalom stern inspired design with a quick planning hull and aggressive rocker profile influenced by the Dagger Phantom to offer maximum agility for downriver freestyle and surfing standing waves while giving you the confidence to keep high and dry while bombing through and skipping out of holes.

One of the main features of this kayak is its playful low profile stern. This makes the Rewind a great boat for both experts but also beginner paddlers learning to kayak. The hull design rolls well making learning fun and easy over larger creek boats. The stern allows you to feel the water while ferry gliding, running down rapid and crossing eddy lines allowing progression of beginner and intermediate paddlers to grow faster than when aided by a high volume creek boat on lower grades.

You can take this down your local grade 1-3 river and spend the day squirting in eddy lines or splatting up against rocks things which you can only dream about in your creek boat. But when the rain comes more experienced paddlers can jump onto the higher grades as they pop up and can rely on the speedy hull, bow rocker and volume to tackle the holes while you enjoy big water joy laps of the Upper Dart or use the low profile stern to optimise the Rewinds manoeuvrability for more technical runs on the East Lyn.

The nimble hull design makes this boat excellent for pushing your boundaries on waterfalls around the U.K. No matter if you are paddling 5ft or 40ft. The agile design means that you can easily peel out of an eddy above the drop and make subtle corrections to get your line perfect before hucking and celebrating at the bottom!

The Rewind is outfitted as standard with Dagger’s Contour Ergo Creek outfitting making sure you are not only comfortable but also fully connected and locked in to the boat. This is essential to having fun and being confident while pulling out of an eddy above the lead in rapid, squirting and rolling in white water. However for those not consistently running Grade 4+ Whitewater, The Dagger Rewind also comes in an Action+ Spec, this comes with a foam pillar to reduce weight, while the seat loses some adjustability but the hip pads, ratchets and footplate stays the same in both specifications.

The adjustable full plate bulkhead and adjustable back band allows you to adjust the foot support position and your back support to make sure you are connected and secure in the boat. Alongside this you get hip pads, adjustable thigh braces and an adjustable ratchet leg lifter allows you to fully engage your hips and thighs for the ultimate connectivity with the boat. Therefore allowing you to have full and easily edge control when peeling into a must make eddy or snapping your hips to roll the boat.

Overall the Dagger rewind is an amazing boat for beginners learning how to roll, read and feel the waters changing currents while they paddle up and through the grades. However the Rewind’s real purpose shines in the hands of a paddler looking to spice up their local run with something more playful and agile.
