Dagger Nova & SuperNova

Progressive Full-slice with an old school feel!

The Dagger Nova & Supernova are Dagger Kayak’s newest method of bringing old school into the 21st Century. Based off Dagger’s impeccable “full-slice” and playboating history, Dagger have combined the latest safety and comfort features into a compact low volume shape allowing paddlers to throw around a playful down river playboat.

The low volume bow and stern of the Nova and it’s larger sibling, the Super Nova, allow paddlers to cartwheel and play around making your local river spot the height of fun again.

Safety features borrowed from Dagger’s high performance Creek Spec kayaks include the leg raiser, contour ergo hip pads as well as the step out safety pillar, revived for the Nova/SuperNova is the adjustable foam foot block giving a lightweight solid purchase for kayakers looking to play their way downstream.

The Super Nova and smaller Nova have a hull perfect for surfing and narrow tips for spins and cartwheels but enough volume to allow paddlers to play their way down drops and features.

River Play outfitting consists of the above features but without the heavier bulkier footplate to create the ultimate down river play machine inspired by old school Dagger kayaks such as the Dagger Centrifuge, Ultrafuge, Medieval, Ego and Super Ego Kayaks. Similar full slice non-Dagger kayaks include Perception’s Mr Clean, Liquid Logic’s Session and Session+ and Wavesport’s XXX, these kayaks will handle similarly but without the modern safety features and comfort.
