The Traverse 17.5T hull has been designed to offer the best balance of speed, stability, and straight line tracking. The Rudder system is control from the rear cockpit footpegs which adds even better tracking and allows for when the weather turns paddlers can maintain speed while the rudder takes care of any course corrections. Designed for comfort and control, the Traverse 17.5T comes outfitted with the fully adjustable Elevate Seating System in both cockpits. This offers supportive backrests that can move up and down as well as being recline adjustable. The seat base is adjustable allowing it to be moved forwards and backwards which enables the trim to be changed and paddlers with longer legs to feel comfortable in either cockpit.  The footrests in both cockpits are easy to move for all leg lengths ensuring great connectivity to the kayak.
