The Dagger Stratos 14.5 is an incredibly versatile touring kayak with a sporty edge that is perfect for both beginners and intermediates.
The Stratos 14.5 is perfectly happy paddling along a normal calm river or lake clocking up the miles on small to mid-length day trips, with more than enough storage making it perfect for overnighters as well. While perfectly suited to calmer conditions, the Stratos truly excels in rougher waters and coastline by handling larger waves and swell with particular ease.
The Stratos 14.5’s hull has been designed to inspire confidence when paddling through chop, while its large rocker profile provides high manoeuvrability and agility even for its 14.5 ft size.
The Stratos 14.5 however truly shines when playing in coastal surf due to its pronounced rocker, allowing the Stratos to rise over waves with ease as well as catch waves for some exciting and playful surfing. One of the most fun kayaks to take rock hopping, and play around along the coastline.
Bow and stern storage with rubber hatches and sealed bulkheads provide ample storage for anything you want to take with you, making it a perfect companion for overnight camping trips and short expeditions.
Dagger are known for their incredible outfitting and the Stratos is not exception. The Contour Lite outfitting provides plenty of adjustment and comfort, with features like the variable hip pad shims and leg-lifter support, to achieve the optimum comfort and connectivity with your kayak.
The Dagger Stratos is available in two sizes to help suit different paddlers. The 14.5 S (Small) is perfect for smaller paddlers wanting maximum connectivity, and the 14.5 L (Large) includes more volume in front of the cockpit to help cater for taller paddlers looking for an incredibly comfortable fit.
