The Valley Sirona, available in two sizes, presents paddlers with a manoeuvrable, playful sea kayak, that doesn’t compromise on efficiency or speed. Whether you’re progressing into sea kayaking, or want a boat to do it all, the Sirona will enable you to paddle with ease when surfing tidal rips, on day trips, multi-day weekend adventures, and moonlit overnight expeditions.

Utilising all of the great features offered on the composite Sirona, the RM (roto-moulded) version has a more durable and impact resistant triple-layer polyethylene construction. This gives paddlers more confidence to push their abilities in shallow or more rocky waters.

With a fair amount of rocker, the Valley Sirona provides excellent manoeuvrability in all conditions, helping create a more agile and exciting feel to each paddling trip. The width of the hull around the seating area offers increased stability, which coupled with the soft chines improves the handling in rough waters. The length of the Sirona is enough to make it a capable distance kayak, for those extended day trips along the coastline. When the tidal conditions are against and you’re fighting the wind, the drop down skeg will keep you in control, providing the extra tracking you’ll need.

The outfitting in the Valley Sirona is lightweight and easy to adjust for paddlers of all shapes and sizes. The backband can be easily tightened to provide more support, or loosened for a more relaxed fit. The thigh braces and the foot pegs can be tweaked to provide the most comfort and best connection for the paddler. The Valley outfitting also comes with thin hip pads, which may need to be padded with extra foam, to achieve the best fit for smaller paddlers.

Overall, the Valley Sirona is a fantastic sea kayak with a highly versatile design. Longer kayaks will of course have a higher maximum hull speed, but unless you're consistently paddling in situation that require this, the Sirona is a much more appropriate choice for many paddlers.
