 The Valley Etain in a composite construction is lighter and has sleeker lines than the RM models, it is available in three builds that between them cover recommended capacities from 40 – 135 Kg. This is a UK made sea kayak designed to paddle loaded for multi week trips but also great for day trips. The Etain offers plenty of speed on an efficient hull that provides good stability and tracking. 

The long waterline and shallow V hull provides the Etain with a predictable and balanced feel no matter what the sea conditions or whether empty or laden. Rocker along the keel is gentle in order to maintain great straight-line tracking however it also responds well to edging and is surprisingly agile for a boat of this length.

The storage pod in front of the cockpit is suitable for small items that you need easy access too such as glasses, snacks, map, compass etc. There are three bulkhead storage areas to help with organisation of kit. The smaller 'day hatch' storage is located close enough to the rear of the cockpit to be used while paddling solo on gentle waters. Other features of the Etain include a locking point situated behind the cockpit and special attention given to cockpit ergonomics which are very important during long hours afloat.
