 The Composite Virgo is efficient and responsive on the water and has excellent stability even in rough conditions. The composite builds have cleaner, more precisely defined lines than the polyethylene Virgos which are P&H's current best-selling kayaks. If you want better than the best then the Virgo in a composite build is exactly that!

The Virgo is a mid-sized sea kayak and a great choice for paddlers looking for high performance exploring the coast, surfing, ocean play or general touring for a few nights camping. The well-defined carving rails and nicely formed chines give a predictable response to your control moves with nice release from edge to edge. This makes it an ideal choice for exploring varied coastline environments whether that is on glass flat days or challenging complex waters.

The low-profile rear deck is designed for easy rolling and re-entry while the forward deck and hull have enough volume and up-sweep to power over oncoming waves and minimise purling when riding downwind or landing in surf.

We do often carry some off the shelf composites or you can design and order a custom build to get exactly the Virgo you want! There is a choice of six different build weights so you can match the weight and build materials to your kind of paddling. These range from the Ultralight at just 16.5kg through to the Heavy Duty at 27kg. Build your own personal look by choosing a personalised finish selecting from a wide range of colours, including metal flake options and fades. You can combine separate colours for; deck, hull, cockpit, seams and graphics as well as deck lines and bungees.
