The North Shore Aspect is a kayak designed around sea kayakers that are looking for an easy-to-use boat that provides a good alternative to a full-length sea kayak.

The Aspect is a much more manageable boat to use due to the shorter length and less weight. Combined with soft chines, this makes for a really confidence inspiring boat. Soft chines make the boat really predictable in choppy conditions, allowing you to easily paddle through and over chop. They also help the boat to track really well in a straight line, because the boat will sit low in the water, allowing it to keep moving forward without getting impacted by things such as the wind and water conditions.

With a shallow v shaped hull and not too much rocker, the Aspect will carry its speed and track well, enabling you to paddle longer trips and the occasional overnight trip. Front and rear bulkheads allow you to store enough kit for a long day’s paddling. As well as this, the Aspect has a moulded compass recess, deck line and bungee and a retractable skeg.
