Traditional Ottertail Paddle

 The Badger tripper is an extremely smooth and quiet paddle especially for it's blade size/surface area. Very popular among solo paddlers and tandem trippers, it's a great lake canoe paddle.

The latest iteration of the Badger canoe paddle keeps its classic/traditional look as an ottertail, but refined. Featuring a thin tip and raised up volume, the Badger Tripper has a very smooth entry into the water and a quiet while smooth stroke. The Volume enters the water a little later, meaning the full blade activates mid-stroke transferring power but keeping reistance low.

Badger’s signature hand shaped transitional ridge (between the shaft and blade) allows for a strong backbone travelling well into the paddle blade. It then gradually tapers into the blade, allowing for uniform flex towards the centre. The ridge also creates a smooth flow of water around the blade on the surface, allowing for a more smooth and fluid stroke.
