Rudder System designed for use with a Bixpy Motor
If your kayak has a 10mm rudder pin hole mount, you can easily motorise your craft using the Versa Rudder Adaptor - a rudder blade specifically design for use with the Bixpy motor system. The Bixpy K-1 Motor simply bolts on to the base of the rudder blade. The Versa rudder is super easy to install and comes supplied with a pull cord and clam cleat making it easy to haul the rudder when landing. The rudder is gravity deployed and once dropped it locks into position allows you to motor in both forwards or reverse without the rudder lifting out of position. The enlarged tail design offers increased turning performance whilst under motor power or just whilst paddling.
Fitted with V-Arm Steering which allows you to easily tie on existing rudder control lines. Constructed from anodized aluminium and glass-filled nylon for one tough rudder ready for fresh and saltwater adventures. A quick-release pin allows you to remove the rudder blade with motor attached from the rudder housing for easy pack down at the end of a session.
