Bixpy-Ready Vibe Gravity Rudder System

If your kayak has a 10mm rudder pin mounting location, you will easily be able to add this rudder adaptor so you can add a Bixpy motor to your kayak. The rudder blade has a removable end cap that reveals the 4-hole mounting point for a Bixpy K-1 or J-2 motor. The rudder blade is gravity deployed and features a locking mechanism that stops the rudder kicking back if you reverse the motor, whilst retaining a kick-up feature if you strike an object whilst going forwards. 

When it comes to shallow water or landing, you can simply pull the haul cord and the rudder with motor will pull up onto the back deck of the kayak.  

Please note - steering lines or a steering system is not included. The rudder housing has moulded-in tie-off points to attach existing steering lines to the rudder.  If your kayak does not have steering footrests or hand controls, an additional purchase of these items may be required.
