Mounting Bracket for Bixpy Motors
Some modern fishing kayaks feature a Power-Pole mounting location at the stern of the kayak e.g. Hobie Outback 2019+, Hobie Lynx, Vibe Shearwater and Old Town PDLs. This handy adaptor allows you to mount a Bixpy motor to your kayak using the Power-Pole installation points! Simply bolt to the pre-drilled Power-Pole mounting location. Some kayaks require an adaptor plate e.g. Hobie Compass and Pre-2025 Hobie Pro Anglers and these are available separately.
The hinged design allows you to haul up the motor when landing or in shallow waters. The mount can be locked or made steerable by connecting existing steering lines or using pole-steering (available separately).
Compatible with the Bixpy K-1 and J-2 Motors.

- 270° of rotational trim - adapter ships with set screws in place. To achieve steering, set screws must be removed.
- Protection: Water-proof, dirt-proof, and corrosion-resistant housing and components.
- Water use: Marine-grade stainless steel components are suitable for use in both saltwater and freshwater environments.
- It is recommended that the bottom of your motor be about 3" (76.2 mm) to 5" (127 mm) below the waterline, and more in choppy water as necessary.
