Swift Canoes Prospector 15

Lightweight classic prospector design

 The classic Prospector canoe profile has been refined by Swift through cleaning up the lines and changing/moving the tumble home. The refinement of moving the tumble home to the top of the freeboard improves the feelings of stability when loaded. While rounding the lower chines along the Prospector 15 allows for waves and chop to pass under the canoe easier creating a less rolling feeling for the paddlers. Swift also has smoothed the hollows at either end of the canoe to give it the ability to cut through the water better/smoother.

The Swift Canoes Prospector 15 comes as standard with two cherry wood webbed seats, the bow seat is contoured to allow the seat to be used in reverse for solo paddling. Swift have widened the bow seat by a full webbing strip and contoured the rear of the cherry wood seat, so when you reverse the boat for better trim while solo paddling, you are not only slightly closer to centre of the canoe but are able to paddle much more comfortably in a seated or kneeling position.

Also included is a sculpted and comfortable to use cherry yoke which combined with the lightweight nature of the canoe makes portages easy.
