Palm Riff Rescue PFD
A comfy, low-profile PFD with dedicated rescue features
The Palm Riff Rescue PFD is a low-profile whitewater buoyancy aid designed for freedom of movement, comfort and reliable performance. Its Flex Fit shape moves naturally with you, while neoprene-padded shoulders and a soft FlexWeave lining keep it comfortable run after run. Side-entry buckles make it quick and easy to put on.
The Riff Rescue combines a secure fit with practical features for demanding river use. The 3D anti ride-up waistbelt helps keep the PFD comfortably in place, while the adjustable UCLan chest harness and strong aluminium hardware provide added confidence when the PFD is used for rescue situations.
A large front pocket with a tough YKK zip gives plenty of space for essential kit, with an internal compartment and easy-access knife sleeve keeping equipment organised and close at hand. Daisy chain attachment points, D-ring cowtail points and a webbing lash point provide further options for carrying rescue equipment.
Built with Gaia PVC-free foam and durable 420D ripstop nylon, the Palm Riff Rescue is a comfortable, hard-wearing PFD designed for whitewater paddlers who need dependable buoyancy with the added functionality required for river rescue.

PFD Fit Guide
Chest – Measure horizontally under the armpits, around the fullest part of your chest and shoulder blades.
Weight – Factor in the weight of all the equipment you'll be wearing as well.
PFD Buoyancy Label – A correct fit is more important than choosing the buoyancy category according to their weight. All Palm Buoyancy Aids have buoyancy above the minimum floatation required for CE/ISO certification. PFD weight ranges are printed inside Palm Buoyancy Aids, on the ISO label.
