Palm Nevis
The newly designed Palm Nevis is the ultimate PFD for whitewater kayaking. Designed specifically to be comfortable while enabling you to safely push your limits paddling.
Following on from Palms FXR range, the Nevis includes a new and improved Delta fit system to ensure an optimum fit while preventing the buoyance aid from riding up. Palm’s new aircraft grade anodised aluminium tension locks included on the Nevis can take up to 3.2KN ensuring a stronger and more reliable fit in even the most extreme conditions. While the two split D rings for Cow Tail clip in allows the belt to be set up left or right handed helping aid when performing rescues.
Furthermore, the Nevis includes a more environmentally friendly Gaia foam that has a lower water resistance compared to PVC foam while also being naturally mould resistant, ensuring a longer life span.
The Nevis is fully equip for rescuing, featuring a quick release belt, a tab on the front for attaching your river knife ensuring that you are prepared for a rescue situation before it arises. In addition, the Nevis includes the popular ergonomic clam shell pocket. While inside, the organised inner pockets enables you to organise and spread out your gear. Included with the large clamp shell front pocket are two additional stash pockets on both sides of the PFD. Palms have refined the quick release belt where one smooth pull sets the harness at the correct length, enabling quicker and simpler safety setups. The Nevis is the perfect companion for big whitewater paddlers.
