Werner Sho-gun
The Werner Sho-Gun uses Werner’s most advanced technology and design to create an aggressive and powerful river running paddle. If you want to tackle some steep creeks, technical River running or even stomping some of the bigger drops then the Sho-Gun is for you!
The Werner Sho-Gun provides a light and buoyant feel through each paddle stroke. This allows you to perform effortless strokes while ferrying out of an eddy and charging through features. The Dihedral blade design creates a smooth and stable stroke as the water is able to evenly flow off the blades surface.
The full size blade is ideal for larger paddlers, paddlers looking for a more powerful stroke or the well-conditioned paddlers looking to push the limits on the steeper sections of the river.
The carbon blades provide a perfect combination of weight and stiffness. This alongside the optional neural bent shaft enables you to paddle all day with comfort and lack of strain on your wrists preventing injury over time.
Available in straight or bent shaft allowing you to choose the paddle shaft most suited for your style.

- Full sized blades are and ideal fit for larger, well-conditioned paddlers or those looking for more powerful strokes on shorter steeper rapids.
- Optimised flex and strength. Choose our Bomber fiberglass Straight or carbon Neutral Bent shaft in Standard Diameter or Small Diameter.
- Although our Ultimate performance paddles are far and away our best paddling, their unique design characteristics and materials do not make them our most impact resistant. Look to our Premium paddles for the highest impact resistance.
- Feather Angle: 1-piece options- unfeathered, Right hand control or left hand control, up to 90 degrees, in 5 degree increments. 2-piece R45/0/L45 or R30/L30. R45 is our most popular in river running and R30 in play boating.
