Darren

Darren joined the Canoe shop group in 2008 after a season as a canoe instructor on the Ardeche. He has 10 years of paddling experience which initially developed from kayaking with friends. He particularly enjoys sea, white water, surf and freestyle kayaking and has kayaked many different rivers in a variety of countries including Uganda, Corsica, Spain and France 

Living on the south coast enables Darren to spend many days’ sea kayaking, coastal touring and kayak fishing despite of his phobia of wet fish! If it is raining, you will mainly find Darren venturing across the UK to paddle any grade 3-4 he can find.
