If you want a canoe that will handle a month’s worth of supplies to head out into the wilderness, this is the canoe for you. These are made from a tough 3 layer polyethylene plastic that withstands hard knocks and extensive use, because of the material it’s nearly indestructible and makes them attractive to owners who plan to subject them to hard use with little maintenance.
This all round canoe is a bigger version of the classic 15 and 16 model, this model is the ideal canoe for larger family’s adventures and for those that are looking at doing multiday expeditions. This has also been a very popular model with hire centres and clubs.
The shallow arch hull also makes the Prospector very stable, and this combined with a moderate rocker make it easy to manoeuvre and responsive which makes white water and solo paddling easer.
This has the traditional features you would expect to see on a canoe of this quality, including wood/ web seats, ash carry handles and an expertly designed yoke that has been shaped to fit your shoulders perfectly allowing for maximum comfort for long portages.
